1. Any benefit from routing satellite signal thru Oppo 205 to improve video?
Samsung says No...connect satellite directly to tv.
Oppo's manual says to connect satellite to Oppo's HDMI IN and output HDMI to tv...to take advantage of the Oppo 205's superior video processing?

2. Given that this system, McIntosh C2200, is 2-channel...is there any advantage of receiving audio from HDMI eARC...over optical audio output from tv?
In a surround system, the advantage is obvious.

3. Assuming I figure out lip sync issue, is there any noticeable audio advantage of using Oppo as a dac, then xlr out to C2200....vs....rca output of satellite straight to C2200? I'm sure the processing is better in Oppo, but noticeable in 2-channel? Isn't the most direct audio pathway usually the best?

4. Thanks Ivan. If I go the route of Alchemy D2L, can't find a source to purchase?
