Hi Tom - Yes.
In our case, the cable box is connected to the HDMI 2 input on the TV, while ARC is on HDMI 3 and is physically connected to the HDMI output on the OPPO 205. When using the cable box, the OPPO input is set to "ARC on HDMI OUT", and all sound is processed thru the OPPO.
When a Blu-ray or UHD disk is played, the TV input is set to HDMI 3, so using the same physical HDMI cable as used for ARC.
