You're not kidding. Just a few days ago, these seemed to "come to life". The science people will say that my ears are breaking in to the speakers, but I don't see how it could be that my hearing acuity improved this much. It seems like it sounds like music now, whereas before, it was just sound. Drums and cymbals seem to be more clear and have more presence to them.

Weird -- the older and more decrepit my ears get, the greater my desire to buy newer and better "audiophile" gear!
