For regular listening, i'm very happy with the Bass, it just does not have the SLAM that some people like, especially my younger son in law.
Yes a B&W sub would help, but I do not think it's needed.

The Hana Red is a marvelous cartridge, I moved from a Transfiguration Phoenix
to the Hana Red and it brought out more detail.
The amount of Bass does not change, playing Vinyl or Digital.
