But....that amplification setup is really fabulous. Two box preamp and two box amps! And...done the right way, with the power supplies separate from the amplification stages. My First Sound preamp is comparable, with two external mono and separate power supplies from the main control unit. Must be wonderful.

Hi Stephen, I could never have guessed I would end up with these American beauties (and yes, my better half really adores them!).
Indeed, these amplifiers are a bit fragile (and I am not a techie), but they are so well made and produce a sound that is beguiling.
