Well, Bart, you are quite consistent in your thinking. If memory serves, you are not a fan of Herbie Hancock's 'fusion' era of playing (or Miles' Bitches Brew, In a Silent Way, Big Fun, etc.). While fusion is not my favorite from Miles, I'm OK with most of it, but would rank it in the bottom tier of his work. Like you, I favor the 25yr from '44 thru '69, whether in his own groups or playing with others.
