Hello, I am a long-time audio forum participant but this is my first time posting to AA.
After a 25 year audio journey I have decided to move toward a complete Accuphase system as my end game. I thought that my Shunyata Triton and power cables would stay as a constant but also I am intrigued by the new Accuphase 1250. There are obvious dissimilarities. The Shunyata is passive, which I like, whereas the 1250 is a regenerator, which I have no experience with. However, I know that the choice between active and passive should depend on the power issues in your area. I live in the busy NE corridor which I presume has power issues similar to the dense Kanto Plain, which the 1250 was designed for. So I am wondering if other members have any thoughts or insights? Has anyone gone from Shunyata to an Accuphase regenerator?
