Congrats with the Shunyata --like all who have purchased their products. I became a power cord believer when I forked out a bunch of Benjamin's maybe 10 years ago when I purchased their King Cobra (V1) cable.
Only bought that -- everything up until then were stock cords. Had a few friends come over and we unopened the box, the cable was huge and had FESI material inside (spell??).
Hooked it to my Esoteric DV-50S and threw on a CD. Within 10-15 seconds we all looked at each other after we picked our jaws up off the floor. Believer right then and there. Bought more. 
When I tell this story I add, IMO, that put Shunyata on the power cord map. 
Regarding your sister -- have to remember she may have run out of battery power & no where convenient or with a short line to charge it up. Give it a few more days and let her get settled and stabilized in a safe area. It's pure organized chaos there -- everyone is dealing with freedom of movement where passable.
