In my case I had every intention of getting a nice pair of stands shortly after I bought my amps a couple years ago. But in the interim Ivan's handles arrived and those stands allowed me to install the handles without removing those 147lb amps from their stands. A few months later when I did a bulb replacement again all I had to do was slide the amps forward for access and the same thing again about a month ago when I installed a pair of Flux 50 connectors. They obviously don't have the greatest isolation but I'm thinking those stands will be staying put just for saving my back.
