He changed the cable long ago.
The copper was very pure (dark red compard to other cables), so maybe thats the reason why this cable sounded better than the later generic ones.
What type/brand IEC and plug did these have?

Did Shindo ever use the black two conductor 16-2 Type SJ-E3462-J wire?

My friend got a long "Shindo" power cord with that cabling, and cut me off a 1.2m chunk. It has that dark red/orange wire and I was looking to add appropriate connectors.
