Fini. Much more authority to the bass, depth to the midrange and clarity in the highs. So much for getting anything else done today.
An observation - the Sigma v2 NRs are snug in the Sr-z1 outlets that went in today, but the Omega XC powercord is just about falling out of the third SR-z1 outlet so I’ll have to MacGuyver a solution to that, although I’d expect the connection to be more solid than it is.
Same issue with the IEC connection on the amps - the Sigma V2 NRs are not too securely seated...I’ll devise something to give them a straight shot in to the receptacle.
Next milestone - Everest and custom sized maple platform delivery, then a new pair of Omega AES for the upsampler to DAC connection.
