Looks great! Regarding the footers below the butcherblock if you have some soft footers like Sonic Design feet or similar to try vs the hard coupling you had on hand?

The Everest itself is probably using a Stainless Steel with polymer footer (similar to the Denali 6000T. So the reasoning with the softfeet-butcherbloock-hard feet is to couple the Everest hard to the mass of the Butcherblock but the Butcherblock itself to "float" from the flooring, try it out if you are interested.
