Ended up switching to the Auralic Taurus - which shares the same form factor as the Altair. Great reviews, roughly the same price and much better fit for my available space (i.e., my night stand). Bought this one NEW, so hopefully, it won't be DOA (like the used Sennheiser). Hesitated over the Headamp GSX MK II, but it was more $$ than justified for my bedroom system and the form factor didn't work.
