I'm not familiar with braided ground on AC wire. All my dedicated lines use solid core conductors.

Giving some thought to 10/2 to cover any possible future needs (big amps). Will be going with a Square-D (was lucky that my house came with a Square-D panel) single-pole QO 20A breaker and Cardas duplex outlet from Ivan.
