The vanity card will not sent out a DSD signal, but does a "high level" conversion to PCM, that signal is sent out the DAC (88 or 176)
(the Oppo player has to be set to DSD in the Audio format menu, for the audiopraise to handle the conversion)
(HDMI DSD output from the Oppo player is possible, but I have never used it)
If you have found another way to sent a DSD signal from the audio praise card over the SPDIF connection, I am interested to know.
