Your point on series-mode surge suppression is well taken, moonhawk. I use an APC S20 for our source components because of its battery backup, as we get occasional brief power outages, just enough to have to reset gear. Yet, I'm not a fan of the MOV design.

For our outboard components, two subs and the TV, I use the Brickwall series-mode surge protectors. The two-outlet audio model is quite compact. These are very handy devices.

My 6BSST(C) and two 4BSST(C) amps just plug into a dedicated 20-amp circuit, so I'm interested in your experiences with the BIT, as my Bryston gear is similar to yours. Would one BIT 20 handle all three amps?

Best fishes,

Rich
