You will not be able to "limit" the 802D's without an external active crossover. That's ok, you want to supplement the bass of the 802D's. I would start at 20Hz on the sub crossover and work up from there a little bit at a time.

Try to position the sub in the corner so it can load up the room properly. Run the ARO to optimize it to your room. After that, you want to get the phase right, so have someone slowly adjust it while you are listening from your normal positioning. You'll need a test CD to do this right. When the bass gets full, you know you are in phase with your speakers for your listening position. After that an SPL meter would be helpful to get the blending smooth and integrated with your speakers. You would try to adjust the gain and ELF to get the bass smooth and proportional with the speakers.
