I wanted to say Thank You to everyone who provided their input here. It is truly appreciated.

I found out that the RPI failed due to a corrupted SD card. That was replaced and RoPieee OS was loaded onto the card. Since I wanted an optical output on any streamer I was considering so a new addition to the RPI will be a HifiBerry Digi2 Pro hat to give me that output.

So, I am repairing and upgrading what I have.
