My sister was fortunate in Cape Coral. The water came within 1 foot of their front door which is about 8 foot above street level. The homes across the street and on the street behind her all had some flooding. There was no major damage to the house only to the lani and some landscaping and outdoor furniture.
They don't have power, can't make calls out but intermittently can receive them. They should have gotten out when the could because the area won't be very livable for a bit.
