Just finally finished my Technics SL-1210 M5G build:

For audio performance:
-Mike New Bearing
-Timestamp HE III PSU external power supply to replace original onboard supply
-Transparent PRPL2, 2m power cord
-Transparent Audio RCA jack & PC Board connection cables, mounted to the rear rubber base.
-Transparent Audio Super MM2 RCA interconnects
-Herbies Way Excellent II 4mm mat used on top of stock platter (till I can convince Mike New to do another batch of his custom platters)
-Thorens Disc Stabilizer
-Isonoe suspension feet
-Ortofon Quintet Black S MC Cartridge (25ohms loaded)
-Ortofon LH8000 Headshell
-Ortofon LW800S Headshell Leads

Just to make it look better on my rack, here’s the rest of what I did:
-Mercedes-Benz 010 black paint w/silver metallic flakes, 3 layers of clear
-Original stickers reproduced in silver metallic lettering
-LED light replacements: power/strobe, cue, pitch
-Anodized black aluminum buttons and tone-arm controls
-SL-1200 MKII plexi-cover mounted hinges and plexi cover

Big thank you to Ken at WWS for soldering in the cables and help in setting up the cartridge! Couldn’t be happier with the finished product! It’s amazing how well this turntable performs!
