Well, I have (had, gave it away, mistake) a Bryston BDA-2, a pretty good DAC. I also have a pair of Axiom LFR1100 Actives driven by a pair of Axiom ADA 1500s amps and DSPs. Sounds pretty darn good.
I also have a pair of Marten Django L's powered by BAT VK 56 Mono blocks and a BAT VK33 preamp. Also sounds pretty good.
I have a pair of Harbeth 30.2 Anniversaries driven by a Sansui alpha AU-507 integrated. Sounds pretty good.
Nothing wrong with Axiom speakers or electronics. Axiom has been making the Bryston speakers from the beginning.
Ian Colquhoun is a wonderful fellow, a dedicated Audio lover and manufacturer. I think we can look forward to some wonderful Bryston active speakers. I don't think Bryston will be going down market.
Best wishes to all our Canadian audio friends up there.
