Higgins: I demo’d several integrated amps and chose the F-05 over the 585 Levinson.
The 585 is a wonderful unit with plenty of punch and has a DAC. The F-05 does not have a DAC, but is very musical and warm sounding. The build quality in any Esoteric piece is beautiful and very well done.
I’m a female audiophile and love a great sounding system.
