Speakerlink (shielded cat6 RJ45 cable) is higher voltage and differential PCM. When you get a new pre/pro like 861v6 you plug in a "Reviver" on your s/pdif+comms speakers. This 3rd party small converter adds 150€ to the cost and is only necessary if you get the new Speakerlink based pre/pro's from Meridian.

There are no DSP6000 with Speakerlink.
I use Revivers (black) in my setup to get access to the 861v6 and they work and look great.
