As we are moving into the post Covid re-opening, more concert dates are finally starting to show up
I will hopefully be attending 3 jazz concerts that had been cancelled in 2020, postponed twice and now scheduled for Feb/Mar/Apr 2022:
- Avishai Cohen (Bass)
- Jan Garbarek & Trilok Gurtu
- Paolo Fresu & Omar Sosa
And I'd expect some 2021 new jazz concert dates to be released soon.
On the classical side, the agenda for the 2021/22 season just came out, we are pretty spoiled...
- Mariinsky Theatre / Valery Gergiev, Daniil Trifonov (Debussy, Rachmaninov, Berlioz)
- Maria João Pires (TBA)
- Europa Galante, Fabio Biondi (Geminiani, Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart)
- Denis Matsuev (Haydn, Schumann, Chopin, Schubert, Stravinsky)
- Alexandra Dovgan (Beethoven, Schumann, Chopin)
- Grigory Sokolov (TBA)
- Francesco Piemontesi (Bach, Debussy, Rachmaninov)
- András Schiff, Evgeny Kissin (Mozart, Schumann, Dvorak, Smetana)
I wonder if we should get season passes or hand pick some of the concerts... what would be your advice?
What's your concert schedule looking like?
So much looking forward
