You are one of the first audiophiles ever to openly admit that. At least that I have witnessed in the last 30 years of various forums. The rest will claim that there was an epiphoneous moment each and every time they buy a new cable...
Simply saying, "man, I love the way that snake looks hanging out the back of my amp like it partially swallowed it" would be refreshing for a change.
