Jérôme.......I think this is a wise decision. At $16,000 list, the PMC EB1i's perform well above their price range. You would have to spend a lot more money to beat their sound. I agree, they are relatively large, particularly their depth, but their sound is worth every millimeter, in my opinion. You are so right about the possibility of the EB1i's returning to your main system one day, and you won't be out a dime to make that happen, not to mention the money saved on speakers right now for your second system. Wire them up and enjoy.
