Tube rolling note:
In my Inspire SEP I have settled on 1960's Mullard EL-34 Xf2 output tubes as my current favorites. Expensive and hard to find good examples these days without being really expensive. So I ordered a pair of current production Mullard EL-34's that are Russian made and modeled after the original Xf2's. Only $46/pair shipped. We'll see how they compare. Would be nice if they do the job.
