Musical Fidelity X-Cans? I would suggest the Valhalla 2 for the HD600 if you don't mind going with tubes again. On the other hand, if you don't want tubes anymore, the Asgard 2 will get you there without them.
Since I also owned the MF X-Cans for some time in the past, I can without reservation recommend either of the Schiit headphone amps or perhaps even stepping up to the Lyr 2 for a tube/hybrid solution as an upgrade.
