I have purchased an Accuphase pre-amp and am attempting to integrate it into a Home Theatre config. When I had me E-470 I used the EXT-PRE function which looked to operate as a HT Bypass and I could run sound from my AV Receiver through the E-470 and use my Hifi Left and Right speakers in a 5.1 AV config. Since moving to Accuphase separates C-2820 and A-47 combo I am unable to get the EXT-PRE function on the C-2820 to operate in the same way...no sound through left and right when running the signal from the AV receiver through EXT-PRE on the C-2820. Am I doing something wrong, should the C-2820 run in the same way as the E-470 from this perspective. Kinda scratching my head as to why I cannot get this to work. If I run the AV through line 3 on the C-2820 I get sound, just nothing when EXT-PRE is used.
