I bet those are about as good these High Frequency Transducers from Synergistic Research.

I photographed one HFT simulator on the inner wing of the left speaker right in the center of the wing so you could see how small they are. If you can't see it, and I don't blame you, try the next photo it's a little closer, and for those who still can't see it and have normal vision, there is a close-up of one. They sold them in five-packs for about $200. They used to say you needed one five-pack, but people started using more of them. They are about 8mm in diameter and about 8mm deep. In the photo with the ruler, you see an 8mm x 8mm piece of dowel to simulate the size of the actual HFT. It takes over 1000 to cover one square foot of wall space. I guess that means the volume and selector controls on my components affect the sound more than these thingies.
