So, I notice you just joined this group too!
Can you tell me more about your appreciation of your system. Did you acquire both amp and speakers at the same time, or did you progress one component at a time? How did the sound and performance evolve? How large is your listening room?
I too own a MC-462, driving older 802D2's. I was seriously looking into upgrading to the same 800D3 that you have, until my dealer told me to hold off, because of the soon to be released 801D4 model. I'm also itching to swap the 462 for a pair of MC-611's, the ultimate setup with such speakers in my mind.... Food for thought!
Anyone reading this that have 800's with mono-blocks, I'd like to hear from you!
