in the maxima amateur bi-amping is not possible because the crossover circuit topology does not allow it ... ;-)
maxima is not an "elongated electa", it has many innovations inside:
the internal shape of the cabinet has been totally redesigned, and optimized to mechanically eliminate standing waves, the damping material is new and is based on 3-layer pads made of recycled carbon and silica fibers. The crossover (IFF interactive fusion filtering) is completely new as a circuit diagram and is mounted in a separate volume to make it isolated from vibrations. There is also a third chamber on the ground filled with inert material which serves to increase weight and stability. Maxima underwent long listening sessions to decide one by one all the individual components used (both in the brand and in the range).
