As some of you know, I recently moved from Germany back to the USA.

My Quardaspire SVT rack worked very well on a sturdy granite floor.

Our new house in the US has a typical floor located on the 2nd floor consisting of carpeting and a carpet pad over wood.

With that said, my turntable sits on a HRS Platform resting on the top of the SVT rack.

If you even walk lightly across the floor with a record playing it will most likely skip.

I believe the SVT rack is designed to have movement, correct?

Any suggestions? Not interested in wall mounting.
