The SonicTransporter is a dedicated computer designed to run Roon and a couple of other media server options like Logitech Media Server, Minimserver, and HQPlayer. So the Sonictransporter will deliver music to your endpoint or player at your hifi system. The Sonore Rendu products are players which are Roon Ready and can accept the music served from the SonicTransporter, and pass it to your DAC.
