I have Klipsch Belles for both the center and the surrounds. But a Belle in the center position was simply not working out, and I was searching for a replacement that would solve the problems I was having. ~6 weeks ago I had a chance to pick up a B&G Radia CC-400 center channel very inexpensively from a liquidation sale. Still in the original box.

It has 2 - 8" woofers, one on each side, with 2 - 2.75" X 7" planar mid range and 2 - 2.75" X 2.75" planar tweeters between the woofers. A 4 ohm speaker. Planar speakers have a very horn like sound and I cannot get over how perfectly it blends with the Klipsch's. And the best thing, its a wall mount that fits discretely under the screen.

Best change I have made in a very long time. The Belle was simply to much speaker for the center position. Even cutting it 12db or removing as much bass as possible at the processor didn't solve it.
