I cannot judge attendance well as this was my first Capital Audiofest. Compared to the last (think they've started again) NYC show I attended 10+ years ago (2008, maybe?) this one was very much smaller in both industry support and attendance. On the upside, no room was crowded and a seat was almost always available if you found something where you wanted an extended listen. Rooms with vendor reps (who were happy to discuss the gear) were much "friendlier" than rooms with sales people (who had limited knowledge and no interest in anything but a sale). All-in-all, it was good show and I'll plan to spend a night at the next one I attend.
