Richard.......A retro vintage sound system is great fun. My vote is for the JBL 4312's over the L100's. I have owned both. In my opinion the 4312's are better sounding speakers. I bought my pair of JBL 4312A speakers new in 1989 and still have them. Really good three-way monitors.
