It sounds like you are planning a pretty sophisticated system. When you eventually move your 2 channel system to your dedicated room, will your multichannel playback system go there as well?

Whatever you decide, you should utilize a S.W. It'll help smooth out the nasty room acoustic problems you will encounter. Get a copy of Dr. Floyd Toole's book on reproduction. It's very informative.

I apologize for my the tone of my previous posts. I meant no affront who think differently than I do. I am a numbers guy and am driven by objective data. I recognize
that many are subjective in their analysis. If I offended any of you I didn't mean too.

But my thinking still stands regarding accurate reproduction of any signal source.

Also a general query, What kind of music are you drawn to? I think it makes a difference. Me? I'm a classically trained musician, performer (low brass) , and avid concert goer. Row 10 center please.
