I appreciate the information. I will give this some thought and I appreciate it as it opens up more options for me. I was leaning to the Solid Steel WS5 but ruled it out not realizing the overhang non-issue.
PS: interesting and I do not doubt the measurements as in your diagram but the McIntosh web site also states elsewhere it is 21 inches deep:
