When I had a Classic Signature I had the pop sound upon shutoff etc. It was plugged into a now sold PS Audio P10. I experimented with a Humbuster X and got less pop. Eventually I bypassed the P10 and plugged the TT into a separate circuit and had no pop. And although I had no feedback I swear it sounded better once plugged into a separate line. I can't prove it but my gut feeling was that it was some sort of grounding anomaly. Cart was a Ortofon Cadenza Black. Preamp MC C1000 through the SS portion.
