I would suggest viewing this review of the E280 as IMO it is quite on target:

Assuming you are interested in new and Accuphase, the E280 is likely the best/only option. That would leave room to buy a high-quality external phono stage. At the current US price for the Accuphase phono card I think there are better options unless you must have a single box solution.
