Okay, me being the detail freak that I am, I went overboard trying to ID the existing fuse lol. I know next to nothing with fuses so mouser was very helful. Long story short, it's a Swiss Schurter FTT Series (0034.5040). Pictures are original blown fuse.
I just ordered some from Mouser, they are pricey though.
I am working on another small project for the BDP-3. I think I will be the world first doing it eh. Stay tuned!
