I bought a pair of Pass X600.5 amps in July of 2013. I was able to use them for a bit over 2 weeks for the July electric bill, and that period doubled my electric bill from $200 to $400. Of course, part of it was due to having to use the AC whenever they were on.
Anyway, I freaked out, and had solar installed, which helps a lot. At the end of my first year of solar I had to pay PG&E about $120 to even up. Now I only use that stereo on Friday and Saturday night, so PG&E should be paying me this year.
