I have heard the PL-200II, PL-300II and PL-500II several times at my local dealer here in Lisbon.
They are incredible speakers. When I upgraded from Golds, I went for the PL-200II. They are just beautiful, powerful, dynamic and really revealing. They have wonderful bass response and I find them somewhat less muddier than the PL-300.
In my case I'm feeding them with a Plinius Hautonga integrated amplifier and my main source is a Cambrigde Audio 851N streamer highly modified. In the next months I'm going for an Esoteric K-07Xs with an external clock. The combo is just brutal.
I really like MA. They are really wonderful speakers for the price tag, when it comes to sound and finish quality.
