And that would not surprise me one bit.
In fact I would expect that to be the case. The scientific community is much more open to the idea of extraterrestrial life out there in the past few decades than ever before. There are Billions of dollars worth of “eyes and ears” pointed to the heavens but we shouldn’t discount what’s under our own noses either.
