Since this is a Japanese Exotica thread, I won't delve too much on products made in USA  but the DeVore Orangutan O/96 is something to also consider, due to it's high efficiency. They are a stand mounted, wider baffle speaker and a new series in his lineup. The 10" paper woofer presents music in a palpable, effortless manner.
