Hi qdfb : I once auditioned the TAD R1 at a Hong Kong HiFi magazine's listening room. The other components were TAD's SACD player & monoblock poweramps + Boulder flagship preamp + Siltech flagship cables. The sound is heavenly! Probably the best that I have ever auditioned!
