I didn't get to hear the 66s. I didn't even get to see the ebony finish on them, which was a big reason for my out of state visit. Since I didn't hear them I shall call it a visit rather than an audition as it regards the 66s. The dealer had them boxed and didn't want to open the box so I could peak in. Oh, well.
I did, however, listen to the 65s and 67s. They look great. As you might imagine, previous to my visit I had looked at basically every photo and video on the internet. Still I wanted to see what they looked like in person.
