I had the SHL5's and Luxman D 05 / 550A II combo. Was very nice. Found the 5's needed a little welly to get the most out of them: they liked decoupling from their stands - or so I found.
Hard to get to sound bad; hard to get to sound great IMHO. The Luxxies make them sound great IMHO.
