Have stayed at the Hale Koa military hotel on Waikiki beach several times (to/from Philippines) as HQ/Personnel & Finance was at Wheeler AFB (next door is the Hilton Hawaiian Village). Great memories -- and at the time $39 a night.

We stayed at the Diamond Resorts facility in Kaanapali. Not the newest place but still nice nonetheless. Let us know how the Marriott resort is as I'm a Marriott Rewards member. BTW, thank you for your service to our nation.
